Adaptive Sports Competition ‘Will to Live’ Draws President Zelensky’s Praise for Veterans in Ivano-Frankivsk

Ivano-Frankivsk Hosts the ‘Will to Live’ Adaptive Sports Event

According to МВС: The city of Ivano-Frankivsk served as the stage for the adaptive competition “Will to Live,” which gathered veterans, military personnel, police officers, and rescue workers. Representatives from military units 3072 and 1241 attended, as did officials from the National Police’s regional office and the Ivano-Frankivsk directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky attended the competition, taking time to speak with participants and congratulate them on their athletic feats.

The Competition’s Eight Disciplines

Athletes challenged themselves in eight separate categories:

• Concept2 rowing ergometer
• Archery
• Bench press
• Kettlebell snatch
• Table tennis
• Darts
• Basketball throws
• Static weight hold

Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs produced the official rundown of winners and medal recipients.
