The Most Sensitive Issue for Ukraine - the Return of Abducted Children

According to glavcom.ua: President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the most sensitive and problematic issue for Ukraine is the return of children who have been abducted by Russia. He emphasized this during a meeting, referring to The Rosenberg Report.

“The most sensitive and the most problematic issue is our Ukrainian children, abducted by the Russian Federation,” the president emphasized.

According to Zelensky, currently more than 20,000 abducted children are known, but these are only documented cases. The president also noted that the Russian side is changing the documents of the children and trying to hide their origins, and then forcing them to participate in the war against Ukraine.

Actions Regarding the Situation

The First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, addressed Russian leader Vladimir Putin regarding the Ukrainian children who were abducted and taken from occupied territories. This happened during a summit in Alaska, where Donald Trump met with Putin.

“Let’s remember, cyber specialists of the Main Intelligence Directorate gained access to the lists of children that the Russians abducted from territories temporarily unaccounted for by Ukraine,” the president added.

The Russian Federation continues to commit crimes against Ukrainian children, holding up to 1.6 million minors under its control. An online catalog has even been created, where Ukrainian children are being “sold.”

The return of abducted Ukrainian children has become one of the most sensitive issues for Ukraine, emphasized by both President Zelensky and First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, during meetings with Russian leaders. This confirms the seriousness and urgency of the problem that needs to be addressed at the international level.
