Zelensky on Negotiations with Trump's Team: What is Known About New Contributions to Arms Procurement

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his address on December 3 reported on the continuation of negotiations with representatives of Donald Trump following the return of the American team from Moscow. Zelensky noted that the Ukrainian delegation, which includes Rustem Umerov and Andriy Hnatov, will continue discussions with Trump's representatives regarding new contributions to the U.S. arms procurement program known as the PURL program.

In this address, Zelensky marked the 1379th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. He also emphasized that achieving a dignified peace requires consideration of Ukraine's interests.

He stressed the importance of constructive diplomacy and pressure on the aggressor, noting that both of these components work towards establishing peace.

Defense Support and International Solidarity

Furthermore, Zelensky noted that Ukraine's defense support has received new contributions from:

• Luxembourg
• Canada
• Poland
• The Netherlands

In the context of support, the state budget for 2026 has also been approved, and 15 million Ukrainians have joined the winter support program, of which 3 million have applied for assistance for children.
