According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held consultations on the escalating situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region. According to a report by 'Glavcom', citing the head of state's social media post, Zelenskyy announced Ukraine's readiness to provide assistance in protecting civilians from Iranian attack drones. This offer comes as Ukraine itself has extensive, hard-won experience in countering such aerial threats.

Zelenskyy noted that shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has been practically halted due to the heightened tensions. He is actively engaged in dialogue with regional leaders, holding talks yesterday with the leaders of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, and today with the leaders of Jordan and Bahrain.

Discussions with King Abdullah II of Jordan focused on the critical situation in the Middle East and the rising tensions in the Gulf region. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that

"The Iranian regime, which is trying to survive at all costs, is creating obvious threats to all states in the region, as well as to global stability. No country near Iran can feel safe."

Zelenskyy also stated that

"Ukraine is holding consultations both with partners in Europe and the United States, and with Iran's neighboring countries."

He noted that Ukrainian experts will work on the ground, with teams already making the necessary arrangements. "We are ready to help protect lives, shield civilians, and support real efforts to stabilize the situation and restore, in particular, safe shipping in the region," the Ukrainian President added.
