Ukrainian President's Statement

According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the conflict in Iran has not yet impacted weapons deliveries to Ukraine, though prolonged hostilities could have a negative effect. He noted that the supplies the country was counting on have not diminished so far, but it is still too early to draw final conclusions.

“We do not see this impact yet. For now, the supplies we were relying on have not decreased, but a day has passed. Therefore, it is still premature to make conclusions,”

Zelenskyy emphasized.

Furthermore, Zelenskyy stressed the critical importance of securing funding for domestic production.

“In any case, if there are prolonged hostilities in the Middle East, it will certainly affect supplies. I am sure of that. But we will do everything to ensure that funding for our domestic [industry] is not stopped, and then our domestic production will work at full capacity,”

he added. The President also noted that work is currently underway to prevent $90 billion in funding from being blocked.

Situation in Iran and Israel's Actions

In the context of the situation in Iran, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz declared a state of emergency across the entire country and announced the start of preemptive strikes against Iran. These actions resulted in the deaths of at least 133 civilians, with 200 more injured. This escalation of the conflict could have serious consequences for regional stability and international relations, potentially affecting weapons supplies to Ukraine.

The situation in Iran and Israel's actions could significantly impact global security and the allocation of resources, including military aid to Ukraine. As conflicts in strategically important regions often lead to shifts in military supplies and resources, it is crucial for Ukraine to maintain active communication with its international partners. The ongoing war in Ukraine makes the stability of its supply lines a matter of urgent strategic importance.

Amid the potential for increased hostilities in the region, Kyiv is preparing for potential challenges in receiving military support, which could affect the overall balance of power in its war with Russia.
