We do not know if we will get what we agreed upon, but the agreement is this: in the coming days, Ukraine will incorporate into the drafted document responses to the questions we have regarding these security guarantees,"

the president stated. He further highlighted that Ukraine maintains an 800,000-strong army and raised the question of how it will be financed beyond the Ukrainian budget.

Addressing the Threat of Russian Aggression

A central focus of the talks was addressing threats of Russian aggression. Zelenskyy gave an example, noting that 'the threat of Russian aerial bombs can be pushed back by 200 kilometers.' He proposed to the American side that they jointly consider organizing meetings with all parties involved to discuss security issues.

"The American group can come to us, and after us, go to Moscow. If a three-way meeting isn't possible, let's do it sequentially. That is our proposal. I have heard positive signals from our partners regarding such a proposal,"
