He stated: 'We also have data indicating further mobilization increases-Russian authorities have ramped up the issuance of so-called mobilization orders for this purpose.' Vladimir Putin has signed a law targeting draft evasion, reflecting tighter state control over citizens. Amendments to the federal law 'On the Foundations of the System for Preventing Offenses in the Russian Federation' have been enacted, and starting in 2026, Russians are increasingly being compelled to sign mobilization orders. Concurrently, search queries in Russia related to these orders have surged. Google Trends data shows that terms like 'mobilization order' and 'how long is a mobilization order valid' have reached super-popular status. Yandex recorded a nearly fourfold spike in such queries: about 40,000 in April, compared to fewer than 10,000 in January.
