President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the offensive operation of the Russian forces in Sumy has been completely thwarted, and the hostile group has lost its offensive capabilities due to significant losses. He made this announcement after the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on September 12.
The President also emphasized the resilience of Ukrainian defenders on other front lines, noting that an active struggle against Russian assault activity continues in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia. Zelensky expressed gratitude to all soldiers, sergeants, and officers for their dedication and important losses inflicted on the enemy.
