According to Zelensky, Ukraine expressed its gratitude to the United States for its support and appreciated President Trump's position in achieving real peace.
The president emphasized the importance of the results of the meeting with European leaders in Washington, highlighting the unity between Europe and America. He noted that Ukraine unites the world, which has always been characteristic of the country.
Cooperation in the field of security and military collaboration
During the meeting, they discussed forming a security architecture for Ukraine and defining key security foundations in the near future. Significant attention was given to pressing Russia to start negotiations.
'Sanctions, tariffs - all of this is on the table. We are ready for dialogue at the leaders' level. This is the format needed to resolve key issues. Now, the same readiness must be shown by Moscow,' Zelensky emphasized.
The president also announced two opportunities for military cooperation with the US - an agreement for arms procurement and an agreement on drones. Active cooperation continues under the PURL program - a tool for purchasing American equipment with funds from partner countries.
