According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska attended the launch of a permanent exhibition dedicated to the renowned Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk. The event took place at the Chocolate House art center, showcasing works drawn from the collections of 11 museums across Ukraine. These institutions are located in Kyiv, Lviv, Sumy, Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kaniv, with the display spanning Marchuk’s career from the late 1960s to the present day.
During the opening ceremony, President Zelenskyy presented Ivan Marchuk with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, V degree-a prestigious honor recognizing his contributions to Ukrainian art. Marchuk, who recently celebrated his 90th birthday, holds the titles of People's Artist of Ukraine and laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize.
