. The president stressed that even with the internet cut off and communication blocked, most Russians “absolutely understand that their leadership can come out of the bunker and choose peace.”
According to reports, Russian strikes targeted cities including:
- Dnipro
- Zaporizhzhia
- Kramatorsk
The Ukrainian side had previously warned of a mirror response to aggression, and diplomatic proposals have already been submitted to Moscow. Further actions by Ukraine will be determined based on evening briefings from military and intelligence sources. Source: Khvylia.
The Russian military's breach of the ceasefire during Moscow's festivities highlights an escalation of the conflict and a disregard for diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace. As Ukraine continues to respond to aggression, the situation remains tense, and subsequent military moves could shape regional developments. This intensification poses serious risks to civilian safety in Ukraine and stability across the broader region.
The ongoing conflict has led to significant developments, including Ukraine's recent announcement of a silence regime starting May 5. This initiative comes amid escalating tensions as Russian threats loom over Kyiv, further complicating the fragile situation on the ground.
