Zelensky urges the USA to accelerate air defense supplies: Ukraine prepares new orders

According to Главком: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has urged the United States of America to accelerate the delivery of air defense systems. This came in the context of preparing new orders to ensure national security. Zelensky emphasized the importance of receiving additional air defense systems, as well as the need for missiles for air defense.

According to the president, Ukraine has already received two new Patriot systems under agreements with Germany. However, despite this, additional air defense systems from the United States have not yet arrived. In this regard, Ukraine plans to order 27 Patriot missile defense systems from the USA to strengthen its defense capabilities.

“We want to accelerate and once again very much ask the United States,” Zelensky noted during discussions on this topic with European allies.

This indicates Ukraine's active efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities in response to current challenges.
