According to Главком: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky listened to the report on strengthening frontline positions and the army, as well as announced a program of financial support for combat units and the awarding of soldiers with honors. This initiative aims to improve conditions for Ukrainian military personnel who face the threat from Russia every day.

Highlighting the importance of ensuring defense forces, Zelensky reported that by the end of the year, Ukrainian troops will receive 3 million FPV drones. Most of the drones to be used are domestically produced, underscoring Ukraine's efforts to develop its own defense industry. At the same time, according to the Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky, Russia uses strike drones daily in the war against Ukraine, emphasizing the relevance and necessity of modernizing Ukrainian military technologies.

Achievements and Future Plans

Zelensky also noted that good results have already been achieved in providing brigades and corps over the past year.

“We expect the first detailed reports for December now,” he added.

The president emphasized that the relevant issues will be discussed during the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, indicating a systematic approach to strengthening the country’s defense capabilities.

These initiatives highlight the increasing attention of the Ukrainian authorities to strengthening defense capabilities in the context of ongoing aggression from Russia. Investments in drones and financial support for military units indicate a strategic focus on army modernization and the support of military morale.
