Ending the War: New Consultations
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved the composition of the delegation for consultations with partners regarding the end of the war, which will take place soon. These consultations will be an important stage in searching for ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Negotiations in Switzerland
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov reported that the negotiations will take place in Switzerland with the participation of representatives of the USA and European countries. A document containing '28 points of the US peace plan' for resolving the war in Ukraine was published on social media. This plan may become the basis for discussion during the upcoming consultations.
Zelensky noted that 'as agreed with our partners, consultations on steps to end the war will take place in these days.'
The president also emphasized that 'Ukraine has never wanted this war and will do everything to end it with dignity.' He added that 'Ukraine approaches this process with a clear understanding of its interests.'
These events indicate a revitalization of Ukraine's diplomatic efforts in the context of ending a long-standing conflict. It is expected that the consultations will be an important step towards a peaceful resolution of the situation in the country.
The involvement of international partners may help form a broader platform for negotiations and ensure better conditions for achieving a peaceful resolution.
