Results of the Land Bank's Work

According to ХВИЛЯ: The Land Bank operating in Ukraine brought UAH 1.1 billion to the budget by the end of 2025. This became possible due to the establishment of a transparent market for leasing state lands, which replaced previously existing corruption schemes. Over the year, 60,745 hectares of land in 19 regions were put up for sale through online auctions, of which 57,397 hectares were successfully leased.

A total of 887 contracts were signed within this process. On average, there were 4 participants for each lot, indicating the activity and interest in leasing state lands. The average annual sub-lease cost was UAH 17,100 per hectare. The most expensive lot at auction consisted of a tract of 3,969 hectares located in the Kirovohrad region.

Development Prospects

It is worth noting that the sale of state agricultural land in Ukraine is prohibited by law, and the auction winner receives the right to use the land for up to 14 years. Thus, the 'Land Bank' project demonstrates the effectiveness of implementing new mechanisms for managing land resources in Ukraine, ensuring transparency and openness in the leasing processes.

The results of the Land Bank's work indicate positive changes in the management of land resources in Ukraine. The implementation of new leasing mechanisms for state lands reduces corruption risks and increases interest in using state lands, which may contribute to the economic development of regions. Further development of this initiative could be an important step in reforming the agricultural sector and attracting investments in agriculture.
