The women's national team of Ukraine in 3x3 basketball has qualified for the World Championship 2026
The national women's team of Ukraine in 3x3 basketball has confirmed its qualification for the World Championship 2026, which will take place in Warsaw from June 1 to 7. This is already the sixth participation of Ukrainian girls in such competitions, where they have twice become medalists. The Ukrainians also performed well last year at the European Championship and Women's 3x3 Series.
Results of the Ukrainian women's teams at the 3x3 World Championships:
- 2012 – 4th place
- 2014 – 19th place
- 2016 – 2nd place
- 2017 – 3rd place
- 2019 – 14th place
- 2025 – 18th place
This year, the Ukrainian team has also successfully started the qualifying round for the World Championship 2027, defeating the national team of Georgia. Currently, Ukrainian basketball players are in second place in their group after two matches, showing excellent results.
The men's national team is also demonstrating impressive results, winning against Denmark and solidifying its second place in the group during the qualification for the FIBA World Cup 2027.
Ukrainian athletes are already preparing for upcoming challenges and opportunities to showcase their best results in international competitions.
