According to Главком: The Ukrainian women's national futsal team will play two friendly matches against France on February 17 and 18, 2026. The team's preparation for these fixtures included a training camp in Uzhhorod, which began on February 12. Head coach Oleksandr Zolotukhin leads the squad and has acknowledged the strength of their upcoming opponent, stating, 'It's no secret that French futsal is developing. While the progress of their women's team might not be as prominent as the men's, they have achieved significant success in recent years and will be a highly competitive side in the future.'
The first match against France is scheduled for February 17, 2026, in Lamballe-Armor, with the second to follow on February 18 in Loudéac. Both games are set to kick off at 8:00 PM Kyiv time. A squad of 16 players has been called up for the fixtures against the French team.
