Residents of one of the regions are asked to prepare for a prolonged absence of light

Russians decided to darken Kherson region ahead of Constitution Day by attacking an energy facility. The head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that this attack caused problems with electricity supply in many settlements.

«Residents of the region should be prepared for prolonged power outages», - the message states.

The authorities are urging citizens to be ready for the absence of electricity, however, energy workers are doing everything possible to immediately restore the stability of the system.

The situation with electricity supply in Ukraine

Experts point out that this summer, there may be electricity outages in Ukraine again, but currently, the situation in the energy system is better than last year. It should be noted that this year, there have not been such large-scale attacks on the energy system as in the previous year, and some damaged facilities have been successfully restored.

As a result of the attack on the energy facility in Kherson region ahead of Constitution Day, problems with electricity supply arose in the region. Authorities are urging residents to be ready for a possible prolonged power outage, however, energy workers claim that they are doing everything to stabilize the situation. At the same time, in the rest of Ukraine, the situation with electricity supply is currently improving, and mass outages, as seen last year, have not occurred.
