According to Міністерство Туризму: What began as a pilot initiative in 2025 has now become a lasting framework for local development. Collaboration and Outcomes

The forum brought together state institutions, professional associations, and universities, fostering cooperation through signed memorandums aimed at boosting culture and tourism across the region. A key highlight was the presentation of national tourism policy priorities for 2026, delivered by Taras Lozynskyi, First Deputy Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine.

As a tangible result, protective plaques for cultural heritage sites were handed over to local communities-a move that underscores the importance of preserving historical assets while adapting them to modern needs. This initiative not only supports community development but also safeguards the region’s cultural identity for future generations.

The forum marked a significant milestone in collaboration between government bodies, local communities, and educational institutions, opening new avenues for unlocking the cultural and tourism potential of the Zhytomyr region. The signed memorandums could serve as a foundation for launching new projects aimed at preserving and promoting local heritage, which in turn may positively impact the economic growth of these areas.
