According to glavcom.ua: In the Khmelnytskyi region, law enforcement caught the chief state inspector of the tax service for bribery. It turned out that he demanded money from individual entrepreneurs for reducing penalties. This could lead to budget losses of 800 thousand hryvnias.
An official has been charged with extortion and receiving a bribe, which under Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine carries a punishment of up to 10 years in prison.
In addition, there are also bad guys in Kyiv. An entrepreneur demanded money for permission to advertise, and an accountant embezzled more than 1.7 million hryvnias from the company's accounts. They have also been reported as suspects.
Criminal schemes... Ukrainian law enforcement continues to track down violators and humiliate corrupt officials. May these measures become stronger and the country become cleaner!
