Kyiv Public Transport Updates: New Route for Bus 41 and March Fare Increases

According to Главком: Starting March 25, bus route number 41 in Kyiv will follow a new path. This service connects the DVS settlement with the Heroiv Dnipra metro station. When traveling from DVS settlement towards the metro, the bus will now take an extended loop through the Obolon district. The updated route will include Heroiv Dnipra Street, Volodymyr Ivasyuk Avenue, as well as Pivnichna and Prychorna Streets. The return journey from Heroiv Dnipra metro station back to DVS settlement will remain unchanged.

Adjustments to Public Transport Fares

In addition to the route change, fare increases on several other services will take effect from March 23:

• The fare for the route from Lisova metro station to Brovary is now set at 50 UAH.
• At the start of the year, the fare on this route was 35 UAH, which increased to 40 UAH on February 1.
• From March 13, fares on Kyiv's circular suburban rail service (elektrychka) rose by 5-7 UAH.
• In the Ukrzaliznytsia and Kyiv Digital Ticket apps, a ticket for the suburban rail can still be purchased at the old price of 15 UAH.
• As of March 14, the fare for minibus (marshrutka) route number 434 is 20 UAH.
