The girl was abducted by a 37-year-old local man who forcibly held her in empty properties belonging to his relatives. She was found alive and in stable health.

Yulia Voloshchuk failed to return home from her educational institution on February 10. Following her disappearance, a large-scale search operation was launched, involving:
