Filming girls in booths on the beach: Turkish embassy employee caught in scandal in Israel
Against the backdrop of already strained relations between Israel and Turkey, a loud diplomatic scandal has erupted. A 29-year-old Turkish embassy employee in Israel, Omer Kiyoshe, was arrested on the beach in Tel Aviv for filming underage girls and women in a female changing room. He hid in one of the booths and filmed girls who were changing in the adjacent booths.
Among the materials found on Kiyoshe's phone were dozens of videos of children and other materials of a sexual nature. The diplomat was sent to Israel as a veteran of the coup, but the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims that it currently has no evidence of his guilt.
Kiyoshe was brought to a criminal court in Tel Aviv and detained in custody on charges of sexual harassment.
Diplomats requested to place him under house arrest at the embassy, but Israeli authorities denied it. It remains unknown whether his diplomatic status will affect the resolution of this case.
Ukraine and Israel confirmed their partnership, but against the backdrop of the scandalous situation with the Turkish diplomat, there may be additional difficulties in diplomatic relations between the countries.
