According to Главком: Ukrainian defense forces have eliminated Russian serviceman Kirill Bogaevsky, a soldier with a notable background in combat sports. Born in Khabarovsk on November 4, 2002, Bogaevsky was a champion kickboxer in Saint Petersburg. In 2021, he also won the title of champion in army hand-to-hand combat at the Kirov Military Medical Academy, from which he graduated in 2024.
Bogaevsky served with military unit 42091, based in Novorossiysk, and performed duties as a combat medic on the front lines. His death occurred near the village of Verkhnia Krynytsia in the Vasylivka district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. According to Russian propagandist reports, an FPV drone struck nearby during battle, with shrapnel piercing his lung and causing fatal wounds.
