Ukrainian Armed Forces won 2816 medals in 2025 competitions: results of military athletes

Achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2025

According to Мін. Оборони: In 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine won 2,816 medals at international and national competitions. These results were made possible by the participation of 1,542 military athletes who competed in 521 international events.

Medals and Awards

From international competitions, Ukrainian military personnel won 718 awards, including:

• 281 gold
• 222 silver
• 215 bronze medals

At the national level, 2,071 servicemen took part in 293 national competitions, winning 2,098 awards:

• 938 gold
• 653 silver
• 507 bronze medals

Particularly noteworthy is Junior Sergeant Viktor Sviridyuk, who won 9 international medals. At the World Championship in Germany, he won 5 medals, and at the World Games in China – 4 medals. These achievements highlight the high level of training and professionalism of Ukrainian military athletes.

The successes of Ukrainian military athletes on international stages indicate significant progress in the development of sports infrastructure and the support of physical training for servicemen.
