Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the strategic oil depot of Rosrezerv in Udmurtia

Attack on Strategic Facilities

According to ХВИЛЯ: On July 27, 2024, the Ukrainian defense forces struck the strategic oil depot of Rosrezerv, the Priority plant in the village of Borok, located over 1300 km from the Ukrainian border in the Udmurt Republic. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the territory of this enterprise. The Priority plant is a closed-type facility guarded by paramilitary formations, emphasizing its strategic importance to Russia.

On the same day, as well as during the night of July 28, Ukrainian units carried out strikes on warehouse facilities in Crimea. In particular, the following were hit:

• the warehouse of material and technical resources in the Ichki area;
• the fuel and lubricants warehouse;
• the warehouse of drones located near Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that

“The defense forces will continue to systematically take measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine”

Change in Tactics of Ukrainian Troops

The attacks on strategic targets deep within enemy territory underscore a shift in tactics of the Ukrainian troops, who are becoming more aggressive in their actions.
