The attack on the Russian convoy in the Kursk region, which occurred overnight from August 16 to 17, was a powerful strike by the Ukrainian military, reports the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. As a result of this attack, the Deputy Commander of the 'Sever' group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abachev, suffered serious injuries.
The wounded general was taken to the Central Clinical Hospital named after Vishnevsky in Moscow, where it was necessary to amputate his arm and leg.
Representatives of the intelligence agency emphasized that any war crime against the Ukrainian people will find just retribution.
The Ukrainian military delivered a powerful blow to the Russian convoy in the Kursk region, injuring Lieutenant General Abachev. The intelligence agency reminded that no war crime will go unanswered.
