Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Zarichne in Donetsk: 13 Russian soldiers taken captive

According to hvylya.net: The village of Zarichne in Donetsk was liberated by the troops of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment 'Skelya'. During the operation, 13 Russian infantry soldiers were taken captive.

This was reported by Stanislav with the callsign 'Orzel', chief of staff of the 425th regiment, during a broadcast on the 'Unified News' telemarathon.

According to him, the successful operation was due to the tactic of small groups and a surprise attack. Ukrainian assault troops entered Zarichne on motorcycles and ATVs while the Russians were preparing to advance further.

'When the enemy already realized that we were in the settlement, more than half of Zarichne itself had already been liberated. And then the work of our guys continued. As a result, we raised the flag over the school and over the church,' explained 'Orzel'.

Among the Russian infantrymen captured were completely unprepared fighters. The most experienced of them had been trained for only two weeks, and one for just three days.

'There was one prisoner who was prepared for three days. Three days, and he was sent to the front line. There was also a prisoner from Ukraine, who went there for work. He stayed there, then he was sent to a colony, and from there he was sent here,' explained the chief of staff.

According to 'Orzel', most Russian soldiers go to war for money, not ideals. When confronted with Ukrainian forces, the Russians often flee, surrender, or drop their weapons. The liberation of Zarichne demonstrates the high effectiveness of such tactics compared to the haste of the Russian military.

The Ukrainian troops are actively continuing operations to liberate settlements from the occupiers, using the tactics of small groups and surprise attacks, which allows them to achieve success even in difficult conditions.
