The talks focused on issues of military support for Ukraine; however, no significant progress was made in this direction. Trump expressed his willingness to come to Kyiv and speak in the Verkhovna Rada, emphasizing the importance of supporting Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the negotiations demonstrated complete unity on military support and security guarantees. He also added,

“Ukraine is ready for peace.”

Thus, the meeting of the leaders of both countries highlighted their common intentions regarding further cooperation.

As a result of the crash, one pilot was killed, and the other sustained critical injuries. These events underscore the complicated situation prevailing both in Ukraine and in other regions of the world.

The meeting between Zelensky and Trump emphasizes the continuation of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA, especially in the context of military support. However, despite the declared unity, the lack of concrete steps in ensuring assistance may indicate the complexity of the situation on the international stage.
