14th Pension in Poland: When Will the Money Be Paid in 2026
According to the draft government resolution, the additional pension payment is planned to be transferred in September 2026. The final decision must still be approved by the Council of Ministers of Poland, but the dates do not differ from the practice of previous years.
The full amount of the 14th pension will be 1978.49 zlotys gross, which corresponds to the current amount of the minimum pension in the country.
The payment will be received in full by pensioners and recipients of disability pensions if their main pension does not exceed 2900 zlotys gross per month.

Who Will Receive the 14th Pension in Poland and How It Will Be Calculated
For pensioners with higher pension payments, the principle of 'zloty for zloty' will be applied. This means that the amount of the additional payment will gradually decrease depending on the amount of the main pension.
There is no need to submit a separate application to receive the funds. The supplement is automatically granted to all individuals entitled to a pension or other pension payments.
The legislation also provides that the 14th pension:
- is not considered income when determining social assistance;
- does not affect the calculation of alimony and other state payments;
- is not subject to enforcement in judicial proceedings.
At the same time, contributions for health insurance and an advance payment on personal income tax will still be deducted from the payment amount.
The 14th pension has been a permanent part of Poland's social support system since 2023. Each year, the government determines the month of its payment by a separate resolution, which must be adopted no later than October 31. This information is also relevant for Ukrainians who receive Polish pension payments legally.
It should be noted that Polish workers are among the most loaded in the European Union. In 2025, the average length of the working week in the country was 38 hours, significantly exceeding the average figure for the EU.
