Frontline Intensifies: 148 Clashes in a Day Following Sustained Assaults

Combat Operations in Ukraine

According to Главком: Ukrainian forces engaged in 148 separate clashes over the past day, indicating sustained high-intensity combat. Russian forces launched 73 airstrikes, deploying 243 guided aerial bombs, and used 8,168 kamikaze drones, significantly escalating the threat to Ukrainian defensive positions. Enemy shelling of settlements and military positions occurred 3,447 times, with 105 of these attacks involving multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

In response, Ukraine's aviation, missile, and artillery units successfully struck key enemy targets. These included:

• a command post for unmanned aerial vehicles;
• six areas of troop concentration;
• an artillery system;
• two other strategic objects.

These strikes demonstrate active Ukrainian countermeasures across various sectors of the front.

Sector-by-Sector Combat

On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, two clashes, one airstrike, and 117 shelling incidents were recorded, including seven MLRS attacks. On the South-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy made five attempts to breach defenses toward Zybyne, Vilchi, and Shevyakivka. In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attacked five times toward Pishchane, Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Novoplatonivka.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked eight times, attempting to advance in the areas of Tverdokhlibove, Derylove, Kolodyazi, and toward Stepove, Stavky, Drobyasheve, and Lyman. In the Sloviansk direction, nine enemy attempts to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and in the Zakitne area were halted. On the Kramatorsk direction, occupiers attacked twice in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Predtechyne.

Furthermore, on the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy conducted 23 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Berestka, Rusinyi Yar, and Sofiyivka, and toward Novopavlivka. On the Pokrovsk direction, 24 assault actions were repelled in the areas of Shakhtarske, Zatyshok, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, and toward Novooleksandrivka and Bilytske.

On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Verbove and Ternove. On the Huliaipole direction, 19 attacks occurred in the areas of Myrne and Huliaipole, and toward Zaliznychne, Krynychne, Olenokostiantynivka, and Varvarivka. On the Orikhiv direction, four clashes took place in the areas of Stepnohirsk and Plavni, while on the Dnipro River direction, Ukrainian military repelled one enemy attack toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.

This marks the 1,473rd day of full-scale war in Ukraine. The frontline situation remains complex, with constant enemy attempts to expand its positions. The conflict's duration and persistent intensity underscore a protracted war of attrition, where neither side currently holds a decisive advantage. Ukrainian defense forces continue their efforts to maintain territorial control and mitigate threats to civilians, highlighting the severe and ongoing challenges on the battlefield.
