Russia Struck 15 Ukrainian Regions Over the Past Week
Russian Attacks Across Ukraine
According to ДСНС: Over the last seven days, Russian forces targeted 15 different regions of Ukraine. The assaults involved approximately 1,400 attack drones, nearly 1,500 guided aerial bombs, and 19 missiles of various types, including ballistic ones. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that cities such as Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy faced near-daily bombardments. Tragically, civilians have been harmed almost every day as a result of these strikes.
'This week, 15 of our regions came under Russian fire. Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy were shelled almost daily. The Russians use various weapons to hit people, ordinary homes, and our civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, nearly every day brings casualties from this terror. And the threat of these Russian attacks remains constant,' said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Ukrainian president also outlined key areas for boosting the country's defense capabilities. 'Strengthening air defense, especially anti-ballistic protection, advancing cooperation under the Drone Deal framework, and increasing pressure on the aggressor are our top priorities,' he emphasized. Zelenskyy added that sanctions against Russia and its allies for this war must be applied where they will have the greatest impact.
'We need strong and swift measures that will force Russia to move toward ending this war. Everything that strengthens Ukraine helps bring peace closer,' Zelenskyy concluded.
