The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office informed the acting general director of KP 'International Airport Odessa' of suspicion of causing millions of losses to the enterprise. According to the investigation, the official deliberately failed to submit an application for airport certification, which allowed a private company to profit from airlines instead of the municipal enterprise.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau noted that as a result of these actions, the city of Odessa suffered losses of over 15.6 million UAH. The actions of the suspect are classified under part 2 of article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the investigation is ongoing in this case. Olga Makohonjuk has been acting as the general director of KP 'International Airport Odessa' since 2017.
