He posted a combined time of 1:54.94 across his two runs, demonstrating remarkable skill for his age. Skeleton, a high-speed winter sliding sport, requires athletes to descend a frozen track head-first on a small sled.

Klymenko completed his two heats in 57.62 and 57.32 seconds respectively. He finished behind gold medalist Davis Valdovskis and silver medalist Emils Indriksons, who claimed the top two spots on the podium.
