Russia has deported thousands of Ukrainian children: how they are being returned home
According to МЗС: Ukraine joined the global celebration of Children's Day on Universal Children's Day, November 20. This holiday is celebrated around the world as this date marks the adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which guarantee safety and rights for every child.
Russia is committing violence against Ukrainian children. Rocket and drone strikes on children's institutions, schools, playgrounds, and homes are serious crimes that cannot be justified. Children in temporarily occupied territories also suffer from the actions of the occupiers who impose propaganda and military values. Many Ukrainian children have become victims of deportation and illegal adoptions. The government is doing everything possible to bring home the abducted children and protect them.
Ukraine, along with the entire world, celebrated Children's Day, emphasizing the importance of ensuring safety and protecting the rights of every child, regardless of their origin or place of residence.
