Ukrainian children met with the Pope: details of the audience in the Vatican

On November 21, a private audience of Pope Leo XIII with the Ukrainian delegation took place, led by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
The delegation included Ukrainian children who returned from Russia as part of the Presidential program Bring Kids Back UA, as well as civilian women - relatives of these children who were previously held in Russian captivity.
After the audience, the Ukrainian children presented the Pope with drawings and T-shirts featuring the symbols of indomitable Ukraine. In response, His Holiness gifted the attendees rosaries as a sign of support and solidarity.
The Ministry of Social Policy expressed gratitude to the Holy See for its constant attention to the protection of Ukrainian children, family unity, and support for Ukraine's humanitarian efforts.
The Ukrainian delegation had the opportunity to meet with Pope Leo XIII at the Vatican, where gifts were exchanged and gratitude was expressed for the support of Ukrainian children and families in difficult life situations.
