On December 20, 300 days will have passed since the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine.

In 300 days of war and atrocities against civilians in the occupied territories, Russia has turned many Ukrainian cities into graveyards unfit for life.

During these 300 days, Russia created the largest migration crisis in Europe since World War II.

However, over 300 days, Ukrainians have become convinced of the unity of their nation and readiness to suffer and die for freedom. Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine has united the entire democratic world in the fight against Russian dictatorship.

In 300 days of struggle, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have pushed the enemy back from Kyiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions. During the counteroffensive in autumn, they liberated Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

As of December 19, Russian casualties in the war are nearing 100,000 dead.

The situation at the front is complex. Despite very large Russian losses, the occupiers are still trying to advance in Donetsk, establish themselves in Luhansk, move in Kharkiv region, and are planning something in the south, said President Volodymyr Zelensky.

But we are holding the line. And most importantly, we are not allowing the enemy to carry out their intentions. They said they would capture Donbas in spring, summer, and autumn. It is already winter. They have lost their regular army there, they are losing hundreds of mobilized soldiers and mercenaries every day, and they are using punitive squads. This year Russia will lose 100,000 soldiers killed, the president added.
