State Budget 2025: UAH 2 trillion for security and defense in 10 months

According to Мінфін: According to the report, in 2025, the volume of cash expenditures of the state budget significantly increased compared to the previous year. In particular, UAH 346.8 billion was spent in October, and the total amount of expenditures from January to October amounted to UAH 3.16 trillion, which is 19.1% more than in 2024.

It is noted that the largest part of expenditures was directed to security and defense – this indicates an increased interest in ensuring national security and upholding national interests.

The State Treasury Service of Ukraine emphasized the importance of increasing funding for key sectors, which are security and defense, in the state budget to ensure national security.
