Alla Pugacheva suggested that she might come to Kyiv but named two conditions for the future visit. Her husband Maxim Galkin confirmed support for Ukrainians, although he called the direct question about the trip strange. This is reported by Novyny.LIVE.

Alla Pugacheva named the conditions for her trip to Kyiv

The Russian artists spoke with journalists at the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala festival in Latvia. During the conversation, the correspondent asked the couple whether they planned to visit the Ukrainian capital.

Galkin was the first to respond. He assured that the family supports Ukraine, but after being asked for clarification about a specific trip, he called the question strange. The showman did not provide a clear answer about possible timelines.

Pugacheva joined the conversation. The singer stated that she is ready to come after an invitation and the cessation of hostilities. At the same time, her phrase 'let's hurry up there' sounded ambiguous in light of the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine.

'You know that we support you. Of course. Let’s hurry up there. Invite us, and we will sing together. Only under peaceful skies, please,' the artist said.

Reaction of Ukrainians to Pugacheva and Galkin's words

Commentators perceived the couple's statement differently. Some users supported the artists, while others noted that they do not see enough active assistance to Ukraine. There were also calls not to invite Russian performers to Kyiv.

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Maxim Galkin publicly condemned the war, spoke about the consequences of Russian strikes, performed Ukrainian songs, and began to learn the Ukrainian language. Due to his anti-war statements, the Russian authorities included him in the register of so-called foreign agents.

Pugacheva commented on the war much less frequently but publicly supported her husband's position. The couple, along with their children, left Russia and has been living abroad for several years.

Let us remind you that Russian comedian Maxim Galkin has published photos of his children from Alla Pugacheva for the first time in a long time.
