American companies have gained control over one of the largest grain terminals in Ukraine
Investment companies from America have won the legal battle for control over the grain terminal 'Olimpex' in the port of Odessa. The terminal's owners are suspected of fraud and evasion of loan payments. The decision of the Supreme Court in Ukraine transferred ownership of the terminal to American investors. It is planned that the terminal will start operating this summer, which is important for the export of grain crops in Ukraine. The harvest has already begun, so the launch of the terminal will take place in the near future. Thanks to the active work of Ukrainian farmers, a significant area of grain crops has been harvested. However, the sector suffers from a crisis situation in some regions, as evidenced by the intrusion of a company that helped in the export of grain from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. Investments and infrastructure development can contribute to further growth of the agricultural sector in Ukraine.
