Frontline Situation in Ukraine
As of 10:00 PM on March 1, Ukraine has endured 1,467 days of full-scale war. The conflict's intensity is reflected in 132 separate combat engagements recorded across various sectors of the front over the past day. Russian forces launched significant strikes against Ukrainian positions, indicating a continued escalation in hostilities. The war, now in its fourth year, shows no signs of abating as both sides commit substantial resources to the fight.
From the start of the day, Russian forces carried out:
- 1 missile strike,
- 65 airstrikes,
- 208 guided aerial bombs,
- 5,735 kamikaze drone attacks.
These actions resulted in 2,767 artillery and mortar bombardments targeting Ukrainian settlements and military positions, demonstrating the sheer volume of firepower employed.
Areas of Active Combat
The Pokrovsk sector remains a critical hotspot, where Ukrainian forces reported eliminating 31 occupiers and wounding 11. They also destroyed:
- 3 motor vehicles,
- 10 pieces of special equipment,
- 2 artillery pieces,
- 1 UAV control point.
Additionally, 1 tank was damaged, along with 3 artillery systems, 5 motor vehicles, 1 piece of special equipment, 4 UAV control points, and 45 shelters. A total of 167 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed or suppressed.
Active fighting was also reported on other fronts. In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian forces conducted:
- 2 airstrikes,
- 6 aerial bombings,
- 111 artillery strikes, including 18 using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhansky front, 2 assault attempts were recorded, while the Kupiansk sector saw 3 attacks.
The Lyman, Sloviansk, and Kostiantynivka directions were also active combat zones. Specifically, the Lyman sector experienced 7 attacks, Sloviansk faced 11 attempts at advancement, and the Kostiantynivka area endured 11 assaults.
On the Huliaipole axis, 23 attacks were registered, alongside airstrikes on several settlements. Three separate engagements are ongoing there. One clash continues near Plavni in the Orikhiv direction, where airstrikes also hit Komyshuvakha, Veselianka, and Malokaterynivka.
This data underscores the continuation of intense combat operations in Ukraine and significant losses on both sides.
