Ukraine War Update
As of 10:00 PM on May 10, 2023, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a report detailing 144 combat engagements over the past 24 hours. The enemy deployed 5,002 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,541 shelling attacks on civilian settlements and military positions. The hottest spot remains the Pokrovsk sector, where 37 Russian occupiers were eliminated.
In the Pokrovsk direction, another 15 occupiers were wounded, and the following equipment was destroyed:
- two units of automotive vehicles,
- a drone control post,
- two enemy shelters,
- damage was inflicted on three vehicles, 12 shelters, and four artillery pieces.
Overall, 217 drones of various types were either destroyed or suppressed.
On the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk axes, nine combat clashes were recorded, with the enemy conducting 56 shelling attacks—10 of which involved multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, enemy forces stormed Ukrainian positions ten times, while the Kupiansk sector saw two assaults. The Lyman direction experienced 11 enemy attacks, with five skirmishes still ongoing.
On the Sloviansk front, defense forces repelled three enemy advances, with one clash still in progress. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian troops stopped nine assaults. The Pokrovsk direction witnessed 30 enemy attacks. In the Oleksandrivka area, a hostile assault was halted near Oleksandrohrad. The Huliaipole sector saw 14 attacks repelled, while the Orikhiv direction faced a single enemy assault.
This marks the 1,537th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, with the frontline situation remaining highly tense.
