The ceremony took place at a Rosgvardia training center in Stavropol Krai, led by Major General Pavel Kozayev, head of the Rosgvardia Special Purpose Center. Currently serving as head of security for the Chechen leader, Adam Kadyrov has accumulated over 20 awards since the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

Adam also oversees the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs. Notably, in 2024, he was entered into the Russian Book of Records as the youngest head of security for a federal subject leader—he was just 16 at the time of the listing.
“They are true warriors,” said Vladimir Putin during a Kremlin meeting with Ramzan Kadyrov, highlighting the role of Chechen forces in military operations.
Adam Kadyrov continues his duties amid the ongoing conflict, receiving recognition for his service. This latest award underscores the sustained involvement of Chechen military units in the Ukraine war, reflecting Chechnya's significant role in contemporary Russian military policy. It also highlights the close cooperation between Chechen leadership and Moscow's central authorities, which may shape future military actions and regional politics. As a young figure in power, Adam Kadyrov could become a key player in shaping Chechnya's strategy within Russia's armed conflicts and domestic affairs.
