The organizer of this activity turned out to be a 19-year-old resident of the Sarny district. He demanded $6500 for the smuggling, sending clients detailed instructions via messengers and offering to meet them at a specific location, bypassing checkpoints on his motorcycle.
The police arrested the offender while he was riding his motorcycle, when he received part of the payment amounting to $1500.
The detainee was charged under the article 'Illegal smuggling of persons across the border', for which he may face seven to nine years of imprisonment.
