Due to Russian aggression in Ukraine, 80 species of animals are at risk of extinction.
Artificial intelligence has created images of animals that may disappear. This was reported by the organization UAnimals.
The images depict the European bison and lynx, brown bear, and black stork.
'More than 80 species of animals in our country are on the brink of extinction and may completely cease to exist due to Russian aggression,' said UAnimals founder Alexander Todorchuk.
The Russian occupiers are deliberately shelling nature parks, zoos, and shelters, killing over 10 million animals during the war, he stated.

During the eight months of full-scale Russian aggression:
182,880 m2 of soil has been contaminated with hazardous substances;
2,365,129 m2 of land are buried under the remnants of destroyed items and munitions;
680,618 tons of petroleum products have burned during shelling, leading to significant air pollution;
23,286 hectares of forest have been burned by rockets or shells, and it will take at least 10 years to restore some forest areas;
7,155,689 m2 of property has been destroyed, particularly critical infrastructure, which has also caused significant damage to Ukraine's environment;
Russians have occupied eight reserves and 12 national nature parks.
'We can take a step towards punishing Russia for environmental crimes during the war right now by signing the international petition to the UN and EU,' writes UAnimals.
