Honoring Georgiy Pavlovich Borisov on His 96th Birthday

Borisov began his education at the Kyiv Industrial Technical College, graduating in 1950. He then worked as a master craftsman at a vocational school in Berdychiv. After serving in the Soviet Baltic Fleet, he completed his studies at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1958, earning a degree in metallurgical engineering with a specialization in 'Casting of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals.'
In 1984, he earned a Doctorate in Technical Sciences, followed by a professorship in 1985. By 1995, he had been elected a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Georgiy Pavlovich Borisov passed away on April 11, 2018, in Kyiv, leaving behind a rich scientific legacy.
