A government program has been launched in Ukraine that provides for a one-time payment of 2000 UAH for undergoing a preventive medical examination. The initiative aims to early detection of diseases and encourage people to regularly check their health condition. This is reported by Vchasno.
The payment is available to adults who undergo a basic medical examination with a family doctor or at a healthcare facility connected to the electronic health system. The program operates nationwide and does not require any additional appeals to government agencies.

The government indicates that the program aims to reduce the number of advanced cases of chronic diseases and, in the long run, reduce the burden on the healthcare system.
