Ukrainians remain the largest group among foreign workers in Poland, despite slight fluctuations in their share over the year. As of the end of July 2025, over 1.1 million foreigners were officially working in the country, the majority of whom are Ukrainian citizens. This is reported by InPoland.
The share of Ukrainians among foreign workers in Poland
According to the data from the Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS), as of the end of July 2025, there were 1,106,300 foreigners working in the country, accounting for 6.7% of all employees. Ukrainians remain the largest group, comprising 67% of the total number of foreign workers.
As of July 31, 2025, around 741 thousand Ukrainian citizens were employed in Poland. This is:

Meanwhile, the share of Ukrainians among all foreigners decreased by 0.3% over the year, but increased by 0.1% on a monthly basis.

How many foreigners work in Poland and where are they located
GUS statistics indicate that foreign workers in Poland come from more than 150 countries. The highest concentration of employed foreigners is recorded in the Warsaw region, where every fifth worker does not have Polish citizenship. The fewest foreigners work in the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship – less than 1%.
It is noteworthy that as of the end of July 2025, 428 thousand foreigners were employed solely under contracts of mandate and similar civil law agreements. This is 5.6% more than a year ago, and 1.4% more compared to the previous month.
