Worker from Romania Dies After Collapse in Rome
A worker from Romania, who was trapped under rubble for about 11 hours after the collapse of part of the medieval tower Torre dei Conti in the historic center of Rome, has died in the hospital. This was reported by the BBC citing the ANSA agency, as reported by 'Glavkom'.
According to the publication, the man's condition was critical, and he suffered cardiac arrest in the ambulance. He was resuscitated, but despite the doctors' efforts, he still died after being hospitalized.

Another worker, also a Romanian citizen, was rescued from the rubble almost immediately after the collapse and taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but without life-threatening conditions, reports Reuters.
