Ukrainian soldiers captured their first prisoner who was managing Russian sabotage groups. The artillerymen of the 28th Separate Motorized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign showcased this event on YouTube, publishing the corresponding video.
«Our artillerymen did what was hardly expected of them – they captured a prisoner. This is Oleg, an enemy sabotage group member who was supposed to lead Russian groups in Kostiantynivka. He was captured – thus thwarting the invaders' plans regarding gathering forces in the city», - it is stated in the description under the video.
According to reports, Ukrainian soldiers noticed a man in Russian uniform while searching for a drone. It turned out that he was trying to look like a fighter of the «Azov» but was wounded by a Ukrainian soldier and taken prisoner.
Rescue from the Occupants
In another case, a Russian platoon commander stationed near Kharkiv surrendered his platoon to the soldiers of the 13th National Guard Brigade «Charta». Aiming to save the lives of his subordinates, the commander led them to Ukrainian positions, as their battalion had been almost completely destroyed due to the fighting.
